2022 will be the year of increased pandemic travel. Here are my top 4 destinations and pro-tips to travel like a celebrity without breaking your budget.

Tulum, Mexico

Tulum is Travel + Leisure’s top destination for 2022! If you want luxury, low cost, and ease of access during the pandemic— take your talents down to Mexico. Many of the iconic art installations are on a single strip. So with a few hours to spare, a photographer from Instagram or with a nice Airbnb experience, you can get the pictures of your dream and show up on your timeline like an A-List!

French Riviera

The French Riviera is known as a playground for the wealthy. Our favorite Insecure girl Issa Rae got married in a private ultra-lush wedding in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, in the south of France.

If you want to look like a celebrity, save on the luxury hotels and opt for more modest accommodations.  You’ll have money to spare to visit one of the hidden gems, like the Gorges du Verdon. I have been around the world and back and never have I seen water this turquoise blue! Visit this hidden gem and shut down the gram.

Paris, France

If you are going to France, you must take a trip to Paris and visit the Eiffel Tower.

On your way to Europe? One easy way to snag an Eiffel Tower photo is to schedule one of your stopovers in Paris! With a few hours of layover, you can get a Taxi or Uber down to the iconic location and nab the iconic photos and make your way down to your dream destination. 

Split, Croatia

Croatia is one of the unsung heroes of the Mediterranean Sea. I had the privilege to sail to Split, Croatia, and neighboring islands Trogir, Hvar, and Vis with Yachting in 2021 and I plan to return in 2022. The Mediterranean Ocean and islands of Croatia are absolutely picturesque and provide the perfect photo backdrop for your 2022 Celebrity world tour.

Dubai, UAE

Last but not least is Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Did it seem like everyone was in Dubai in 2021!? If so, it’s for good reason! A trip to Dubai is not only a luxury experience! It truly is a visit to the future. The Architecture is second to none. Honestly the only city that can outshine Dubai is Dubai itself. 

Airlines like Emirates offer stopovers so you can squeeze in a desert tour and get more bang for your buck while you are circling the globe.
