Iyana Halley starring opposite Idris Elba in the new action/thriller BEAST 

Newcomer Iyana Halley is making her way in Hollywood with her new role in BEAST starring Idris Alba. Iyana is known for her roles in shows Wayward, This Is Us, Abbott Elementary, and All American: Homecoming. Iyana plays “Meredith Samuels,” one of Elba’s daughters. 

Iyana Halley began her steadfast acting career in Los Angeles with her first appearance on the CBS series, TOSH.0. Shortly after, Iyana found herself booking guest star roles on a variety of hit shows, such as “SHARP OBJECTS” and “” on HBO. In 2018, she booked her first supporting role in the well-known feature film, THE HATE U GIVE, starring Amandla Stenberg and Regina Hall.

In the film, Elba’s character is a widowed dad of two teenage girls, he takes his daughters on a sightseeing trip to the South African game reserve. However, their journey quickly becomes bloody as the family and their wildlife biologist friend (played by Sharlto Copley) come face-to-face with the massive apex predator hellbent on killing every human it encountersIn this film, Elba’s character is a widowed dad of two teenage girls. 

Release date is set for August 19, 2022 in US Theaters.
