Dr. Sam Beckett disappeared in the Quantum Leap accelerator about 30 years ago. A new team lead by physicist Ben Song (Raymond Lee) has restarted the project to discover the machine’s secrets and its creator. Ben’s unlawful leap into the past leaves the crew to figure out why, changing everything. Beside Ben during his leaps is Addison (Caitlin Bassett), a hologram only Ben can see and hear. She works with calm precision as a seasoned Army veteran.

Herbert “Magic” Williams (Ernie Hudson), a no-nonsense career military guy, leads the highly confidential operation. His employers won’t be happy with the protocol violation. The headquarters team also comprises Ian Wright (Mason Alexander Park), who runs “Ziggy,” and Jenn Chu (Nanrisa Lee), who manages digital security. Ben and the team are on a fascinating trip as he jumps from life to life, fixing what went wrong. Addison, Magic, Ian, and Jenn know they must move quickly to solve Ben’s jumps and bring him home or lose him forever.
