Jameel Jahmay has been in the business for over ten years as a self-contained artist and writer who produces his own material. Jameel  Jameel’s music is focused on romance and social issues. Jameel studied voice, music theory, piano, and guitar at Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina and currently resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

“I love the creative part of being able to put bits and pieces together and making my own style” stated Jameel. He was inspired by artists like Stevie Wonder, Howard Hewett and Peabo Bryson who are legendary musicians and singers.
