The Upshaws Season 2 is back and we are binge watching!

We have been waiting for and it’s finally here – Season 2 of the hilarious Netflix original series The Upshaws. We get to follow the adventures of Regina (played by Kim Fields), Bennie( played by Mike Epps), Lucretia (Wanda Sykes), Bernard (Jermelle Simon) and the family. 

It was created by Regina Y. Hicks (HBO’s Insecure) and comedian Wanda Sykes. You can thank Regina for some of your favorite shows such as Sister Sister, Girlfriends, Marlon and more. 

Last time we left off with the family coming together after it was found out that Bennie used Reginas college tuition money and Bernard finally came out to his entire family, his father Bennie specifically.

Spoiler Alert – We have binged already and all we can say is the laughs and jokes are even more than last season!

This season you do get to see another side of Bennie besides being the goofy husband who can’t do right! You will see a side of him trying to be better. Now will it be received by wife Regina? That’s for you to find out.

There is a plot twist when it comes to Bernard and let’s just say it’s not what you would expect. 

What we love about the show is that it centers around a Black family that works through every situation that arises and they deal with them like we all do. Sometimes they respond in ways we would and other times they react in ways that have us laughing but saying this is definitely not how I would! This is how it goes with family and close friends. You love them but sometimes you wonder how they get themselves in this situation.
